Across South Australia, preschools are receiving upgrades through the Department for Education’s Preschool Upgrade Project (PUP). This state-wide investment is improving Wi-Fi, devices and digital infrastructure in early learning settings.

This past April, the TeachTEK team had the pleasure of hosting DATTASA (Design and Technology Teachers Association of South Australia) members for their annual AGM.

We joined a community of dedicated Science, STEM, and Physics teachers, ranging from those just beginning their careers to seasoned Heads of Departments, all united by a single goal.

Our stand featured an interactive showcase of technologies from our leading partners. In case you didn’t catch us at the event, or simply want to revisit what was on display, here’s a look back:

It’s hard to believe SASPA 2025 has already been and gone. Back in August 2025, we spent two energetic days at the South Australian Secondary Principals’ Association Conference, brewing coffee, sharing ideas and talking about what’s next for school tech.

The 2025 conference focused on "The Future of AI: Challenges, Opportunities and Predictions" - cutting through the noise to explore what AI actually means for schools today and tomorrow.

Adam Spencer lit up the room as our keynote. Part mathematician, part comedian, and full-time numbers geek, he broke down AI, cyber security and digital trends in a way that really made sense.

Earlier this year, RealityTEK Educators, Ben and Shane, ran a session at the Girls in Tech Expo at St Peter's Girls School. Year 5 and 6 students used VR headsets to step inside a virtual laboratory and build a human body from scratch: locating organs, assembling a skeleton, and working out what goes where and why.

Let’s set the scene. A teacher shares content from their laptop, instantly shown on the interactive display and streamed to remote students. One camera captures the front of the room, another shows the class. Audio is clear through the ceiling mic and wireless lapel...

The staff room. It’s where lessons are planned, student progress is tracked, and ideas are shared over a quick cup of tea. At Central Yorke School, the space has had a practical upgrade to help support those everyday conversations. With a 98” Philips D-Line display and Vivi’s wireless collaboration system, the team now has the tools to connect quickly, share clearly and stay focused..

"Henley Community Kindergarten: Same tech, different approach. This setup sits on a mobile electric trolley, so it can move with the lesson. Perfect for centres where the day shifts between spaces (because let’s face it, young learners rarely stay put)..

..Held at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, this year’s theme “Choose Your Own Adventure” invited attendees to explore everything from AI and academic integrity to 3D printing and redesigning library spaces..

This May, the TeachTek team joined the xTEK Network and the Department for Education South Australia at the 2025 Adelaide Careers & Employment Expo.



Part of the Department’s Career Pathways Program, the event brought together students, educators and industry professionals to explore hands-on learning, career opportunities and real-world uses of technology across a range of industries.

Earlier this May, the TeachTek team loaded the LED wall, interactive displays and VR gear, then headed into the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for our very first BMV Leadership Conference.

Craigmore High School gave us full creative scope to rethink one of their old classrooms, including the tech, and the structure around it. The space had been added to over the years, leaving a mix of layered whiteboards, surfaces and wiring that didn’t quite make sense anymore.
